A picture is worth way more than a thousand words.

The pictures can speak for themselves..these murals flood the public walls and streets of Northern Ireland. Every community, Unionist or Nationalist, proudly displayed their messages. Some more eerie than others. However, it was not hard to realize why the distinct division is still so clear today. These messages that have been embedded in their history are constantly visible to everyone; more importantly to the younger generations. This messages are instilled. What I noticed when seeing this debacle carry on, was my sense of patriotism. America has come so far from the time of the civil rights movement. Unfortunately, this dispute is a part of daily life that these citizens face.
